Our School Day
The Start and End of the Day
Our doors open at 8:45 and close at 8:55. Children in Early Years and Year 2 enter via the top gate and children in Year 1 enter via the main gate.
The school day finishes at 3pm. Parents enter the school site via the same gates as the morning drop off.
Before and After School Care
In January 2025, we opened our new wraparound care for children from Fairway Infant School and Copthorne Junior School. This is provided by Camp Glide and is operated on the Fairway school site. Camp Glide is an OFSTED registered provider of childcare and operates successfully to provide quality care during in term time.
Before School Care opens from 7.30-8.45am
After School Care opens from 3-6pm
A walking bus takes registered children from Fairway Infants to Copthorne Juniors and collects them at the end of the day to bring them back to Fairway. This is operated by Camp Glide.
