At Fairway, our RE curriculum is taken from the West Sussex Agreed Syllabus and encourages children to learn about, ask questions and celebrate similarities and differences between themselves and members of their community. Through thought provoking questions, visits, celebrations and stories, the children develop their knowledge and understanding of a range of religions and beliefs from Christianity and several other principal religions and world views. Linked to PSHE and RSHE, the curriculum also inspires children to discuss and explore issues of right and wrong, values and morals and offers opportunities for personal reflection.
